Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

child support/insurance coverage

My husband's daughter is covered on his medical insurance, who pays the co-pays and what the insurance doesn't cover? the child support order says that extraordinary costs will be paid 55.1% by the father. braces apparently couldn't wait 6 months until insurance was in place and now the insurance isn't going to cover the majority of the costs so who pays what the insurance doesn't

Re: child support/insurance coverage

The detailed provisions of the order of support are controlling, but based on the information you provided in the question, it would appear that what the insurance does not cover is split between your husband and the mother of the child based on the ratio of incomes (55.1 to 44.9).
