Community property, wills in a Divorce
My friend's husband did his own will on his computer. She thinks that he left most of his money to a daughter from a previous marriage. If the husband dies before the wife, would the property revert to the wife or follow the directions of his will.

He can't give away her half of the community property.
A community proprty agreement may have priority over the will.
Is the will valid? If so, was the wife named in the will?
She should see a lawyer to answer her questions.
