Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
Who is considered immediate family when visiting someone in a nursing home?
I just recently learned that my fathers mother has been put in a Nursing home due to her rapidly failing health. I e-mailed my aunt in Spokane and she basically told me too bad that only someone from the immediate family can accompany us and that they are all too buisy to let us visit her. They did the same thing to me when my dad was dying in the hospital they made certain hours of visitation is there any way I can get to see my grandmother as my father would take us if he were still alive. I don't believe it is fair please advise.
thank you for your time in this matter

You should check with the visitation requirements at the facility where he is being kept, they may allow you to visit.
