I had a no contact order placed on me 2 years ago with my girlfriend it was for no contact for one year . well we work things out and she insisted on me to stay with her during that time so I did. Now we have end things completely but she keeps threating me with this no contact order that has been done for over a year now. Can I get into any trouble now from being with her durning the no contact order. What is the statue of limitation?

It depends whether you have previously been convicted of violating a restraining order. See RCW 26.50.110 at http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=26.50.110. If NOT, a gross misdemeanor can be charged for up to 2 years after its commission. See RCW 9A.04.080(1)(i) at http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=9A.04.080.If you have been previously convicted, however, the violation was a class C felony, which appears to be punishable for 3 years. RCW 9A.04.080(1)(h).

So what do you do? First, determine whether you are within the 2 or 3 year limitation since the order ended. Then make sure you don't rile the woman for that period of 2 to 3 years after the order ended. (Remember the old saying that Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.) Then pull your head out of the sand. Any woman who would threaten you like this is not worth it. Why remain in a relationship with a manipulator/bully?
