Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Court order

The court denied the child support case for my kid with my exgf in Dec 16, 2008 in Washington because she is not a US citizen nor never been in the US. But now a letter from DSHS Child support division in February 2009 is saying i need to pay. isnt it the court order shoul prevail?? Or do i need to do the hearing all over again?

Re: Court order

I am not sure what difference your girlfriend not being a US citizen or that she had not been in the US would have on a child support determination. It is impossible for me to know what the order the court issued says, but if you want DCS to apply it, you should send them a copy and ask for a hearing.
