I am going to assume "is" in the first line should have been I. I am not sure what you mean by you settled for $525000 over 10 years at $5000 per month, because that comes to $600000. Is that the portion of the business you are keeping or transferring to your former spouse? How was the transfer described, as a transfer of property interest or as spousal maintenance? You can file a motion to amend the decree based on change of circumstances.
