Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
custody of my siblings
my parents are moving out of state, and my two younger sisters dont wish to move anymore, they are in high school and jr. high respectivly and wish to stay where they are most comfortable. they want me to get custody so they can stay here. what chance do i have of that? they aren't being abused or anything so i dont think my chances are very good. legally my parents are fine, but thats about as far as it goes, i hate to sound stupid about this but i dont know what im doing.

Re: custody of my siblings
The court will not change the custody arrangement for children who are in a good home on the basis that the children want to live somewhere else. There is no legal authority to separate children from parents without either the consent of the parents or proof of some form of unfitness.
