Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Decision on where I can live

My husband moved out of our home in Washington 9 months ago to live with his girlfriend and stopped paying all bills. With my income I could not make it and was losing everything. My parents helped me move to NEvada. I have been here 2 months. My husand filed for divorce. I have primary care of our 4 children, 3 of whom are in school and doing well. Upon my lawyer going to court for me - the judge gave me primary care and ordered I move back there. I have no job there and can not afford to live there. I have a job here and was planning on going back to college with my parents help. I was told that an appeal might make the judge mad and he might give the kids to my husband and his girlfriend. Is she correct?

Re: Decision on where I can live

Although judges have unique personalities, appealing the decision is not likely to cause the judge to be angry, it happens all the time.
