I am wondering if I can legally divorce my husband who has been diagnosed with psychofrennia. If so would I still have to pay all his medical bills and give him 1/2 of everything even though he is getting ready to be committed for suicidal tendancys. what are my rights do i have to take care of him forever.

Re: disability

Yes, you can divorce your husband. The court may require that an attorney be appointed to represent your husband's interests. You may be required to pay spousal maintenance and property would be distributed in an equitable manner (whether you would be required to pay spousal maintenance and exactly what the distribution of property (and debt) would be would be affected by facts beyond what you have provided with your question).
