Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Divorce

All paperwork is done and it was going to finalize on 12/02/2008. I had a baby when I was married but my husband is not the father. I recieved DSHS assistance and for that reason they have to sign and approve it before they can finalize the divorce. What do I do if my husband is in Mexico and can't sign the paternity affidavit proving he is not the father?

Re: Divorce

Have the father sign the paternity affidavit. The alternative is to consider that because somebody is in Mexico does keep him from signing a document; send it to him to sign.
