dna testing

can i get a sample and have a dna test done on child without his fathers knowledge or consent?

If you are the mother you can. If you are not you have no right to have the child tested.

If you are the mother and somebody (such as your husband) *might* not be the father, what earthly good is it going to do to find out he's not the father?

If you are worried that you will get hurt, contact a DV shelter or hotline.

The husband of a married woman is presumed to be the father of her child. End. Of. Story.

There is too much hurt in proving paternity. If there is any question, any reputable attorney is going to strongly suggest you leave the situation be.
