Can E-mails be used as proof in court

I have copies of E-mails my wife was sending to another man while we were still married. Can they be used in court? She does not know that i have them

Admissibility of E-mail is subject to the same rules as any other evidence: authenticity and relevancy. You or somebody else may be able to testify to authenticity; you should talk with an attorney about relevancy.
