Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
Extraordinary medical support payments
In my support order it states that I must share in extraordinary medical expenses that are not covered by insurance that are over a percentage of the basic support amount. In my case it is set at $75.00 per month. My question is that when there is a medical bill that is not covered by insurance that is say $100.00, do I pay a percentage of $100 or a percentage of ($100-$75.00)?

I'm sorry. You didn't give me enuf info to answer your question and I was a little confused by your description of your decree. If you would like me to review your decree, I give a half hour free consultation. Please call me at 800-345-3817 if you'd like me to review your support order

Is your Decree from a Washington or Idaho court? I can only answer for a Washington law situation. Your liability woul dseem to be the $100 minus the monthly ordinary health care amount of $75. But I woul dhave to review your child support worksheets and order for a definitive answer.
