Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Family law

I was adopted in 1953 and didn't find out that the order to change my birth cert. was not enforced. So I have a birth cert for a person that dosn't exist and I don't have a birth cert. Any ideas?

Re: Family law

Yes. Get yourself to an attorney who does adoptions and is adept with the civil rules.

There is a mechanism to enforce even an order that is so long ago and require the State to update their records. Don't hesitate to call if you want a referral.
