my husband pays for his daughter. the mother has the child and has been married for 14 years to a man in the navy there getting divorced. i need to know because of a confersation of her husband paying for the daughter if that is legal. well if two people can pay for 1 child. where can i find this out.

Military members are required to pay spousal maintenance until the marriage is dissolved. They are not required to pay child support for a child that somebody else is paying child support for. I'd need to understand you situation better than I do at this point to say much more.
