Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Why does Fathers rights not matter?

My daughter is with the maternal grandparents. The grandfather is dying. Both grandparents are in their 70's. The court could not find me to be an unfit parent, however said it would be detrimental to my daughter to give her to me, even though she was molested several times in the granparents care. The grandparents lied to get my daughter and lied to keep her, including about their health. There is alot more to this story, just not enough room.

Re: Why does Fathers rights not matter?

So what do you want to do?

Why did the court find it detrimental to be raised by you? Did they impose a supervision requirement?

How can you prove the grandparents lied, and how are those points material to the custody issue?

What county are you in?
