Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

i filed child relocation papers last summer but decided to hold off on the actual move till this summer. do i have to refile new papers?

It would probably be best, but read the statutes and see what they require. You should probably send an Amended Notice since you are discussing a different date.

You will want to review the requirements in your parenting plan, usually paragraph 3.14. Then look at the statutes beginning with RCW 26.09.405 down through RCW 26.09.560. Pay particular attention to the procedures to follow.
