Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

forgery

The mother of my daughter stole my birth-certificate and forged my birth

date making me 18. she was 23 I was 16 at the time my daughter was created. Can I do anything to right this wrong. She told me to stay away because she was married and got a divorce around 1996 and used my forged birth certificate to file a paternity suit against me. I have garnishments, and my u,s, passport was revoked as a result. I have since become a german citizen but i need to know if time has run out or is there something i can do from here. She also lied in the paternity suit saying i had threatened to kidnapp my daughter, so i was allowed no contact until she came to me when she turned 18. This is not fair and i need advice.

Re: forgery

There are too many missing pieces of necessary information to answer a question (and the question is not clear). When was the paternity action filed? Were you served? Did you answer? How did she forge your birth certificate? Did you get a copy of the version on file with the department of vital statistics?. A little thought and time spent organizing relevant information will increase the likelihood that your question will be answered. Sloppy questions get sloppy answers (or no answer).
