Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

grandparent visitaion rights

My daughter is undiagnosed (won't go to a counsellor) seems mentally ill. Has raged and decided to hate her sister, brother in law nephews and papents over the last 3 years . Also has had untreated post-partum depression. Now she is issuing an order for me (grandmother) to not be allowed to see the children who she nurtured a very strong relationship with for years. Do I have any rights here to visitation that I can have enforced?

Re: grandparent visitaion rights

No. In WA, there is no third party visitation right.

You can bring an action for third party custody if you believe she is an unfit mother - and that you can prove it.

Her "order" stands unless or until a judge finds her unfit.
