Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

House is going into foreclosure during divorce, Help!

Due to a mistake by the courts stating my income at twice the actual, I was ordered to pay a huge temp. alimony and support as well as an order to pay the mortgage equaling more than I actually take home. The house is therefore going into foreclosure ruining my credit for 10 years while my wife sits back and laughs. I am getting new legal counsel but short of speeding up the final or winning the lottery is there anything I can do on a legal front to save this? Ex is looking to buy a new house with her parents money and wants me to lose the house ''out of principle''. The house is upside down also but I could save it if I were living there. The courts seem to not care about any of this or that she blows every dime of alimony and support on clothes, drinks and gifts while I live on literally nothing! My old attorney even said that this is a situation she's never seen so bad. What can I do?? I am desperate and at the end of my rope. Help!

You need to obtain a new attorney and consult with him or her about this. Depending on your circumstances and when the prior temporary order was entered, you may be able to file a motion for a new temporary order to address the support you are paying.
