Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
My husband is cheating on me, and wants to leave our marriage. We have and 8yo son, and "own" a home. I don't know what my first move should be. What do I do?

As upsetting as it may be emotionally, legally the "cheating" is of no consequence, unless it causes one of you to perceive that the marriage is irretrievably broken. If you believe your marriage is irretrievably broken you should file for a dissolution of marriage (divorce). If there are important issues (parenting plan, child support, and property including a home or retirement accounts, or debts) I would encourage you to consult with an attorney.
