Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Husband & Girlfriend

My husband left me a year ago, for another woman(his receptionist). We are still legally married, close to 30 yrs. now. He gave her his checking debit #. She has now been doing electronic transactions(in her name) on ''our'' joint checking account. Is this illegal, since I did not give my permission?

Wouldn't we both have to say it's okay since it's a joint account?

Re: Husband & Girlfriend

I am sure there is more to this factually than has been presented. If "she" on the joint account and doing transactions in her name then she must have her name on the account. You need to take appropriate action to get a resolution. The remedy that comes to mind is a dissolution of marriage and a motion for temporary orders to resolve the account issue (amongst whatever other issues you may need to get addressed immediately).
