Internet Pictures

I put a picture of a friend and his children on the internet and his ex wife is demanding I remove them. Do I have to remove them?

Re: Internet Pictures

It might avoid an anti-harassment order if you just took the pictures down. It's not the picture of him, it's the picture of the kids that could cause her to say you are (I know, it's a stretch) harassing her children.

Legally, the question would be how is she harmed, what duty do you have to post or not post photos, and whether she has any damages. I cannot see the harm in this, but if she could articulate a cause of action, she might be able to sue you (or not) but if she decides to label you as a stalker/harasser, believe me, you'd rather this did not happen.

Hope that helps. Powell
