Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
joint custody
my ex seems to not be able to support my son and has signed parental consent over to her newest ex's mother.
She did this without my knowledge and I only found out because her ex mother in law called me (months after the fact) to find out what was going on.
We have joint custody. Can she do this. I would gladly take my son home here to us had I known there were problems.

Re: joint custody
I am not sure what you mean by "signed parental consent." In any event if the parent who is designated as the primary residential parent can not perform the duty, the other parent is the presumptive person with whom the child should reside. The details of your situation may affect that.
