Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

I am trying to get my kidnapped daughter back. But no one is helping or assisting where it comes to a point of action. I went through the police, sheriff , court and Lawyer and nobody helped. I flew from Germany to Washington and did everything that I got told, followed all procedures, but what I got was just more phone numbers or the same circle to run. Why is that?

This is most likely a Hague Convention case, which would also deal with the International Child Abduction Remedies Act (ICARA). A good explanation of these two laws can be read at http://www.gonzagajil.org/content/view/92/26/. The Hague Convention is a treaty between nations addressing the subject. ICARA is the law enacted by the United states to implement the treaty in the US.

Perhaps the reason you have not found answers is that not many attorneys or others are familiar with these laws. If it is such a case, you will need to file a court case when merely talking to people doesn't work.

I see from your ZIP code we are in the same area. You should call my office to set up an appointment. (360) 943-6960
