Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Law for divorce on 5 yrs old, prop. protection.

I am currently going thry a divorced and am learning my husband married me for my assets and inheritance. Is there a law that protects me within a five year period for my assets? I inherited my land from me folks early. My husband convinced me to have my mom put the land in our name before she died. He has since got me to get loans against the land and home and has gotten me into a substantial amount of debt. Is there protection for me?? thank you, Traci

There are protections, but it involves using the discovery process to collect and present the evidence and being prepared to try the case to get a fair determination on the nature and relationship to the assets and debt.
