Liability of non parent custodian
I need to understand the legal ramifications of becoming a non-parent custodian of a child. This would be an agreeable arrangement with the parents, but I need to know my responsibilities and liabilities.

The simplest answer is your responsibilities to the child are approximately equal to those of a custodial parent. The differences are that you may receive child support (work out an agreement).
