New marriage
Does my now-fiance have to put me in his will after we marry, in order for me to inherit his estate when he dies?

No. There may be reasons for putting a new spouse in the will, but under community property rules a significant portion of an estate goes to the spouse in Washington without regard to whether they are in the will.
