Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

I'm married common law to a man that I brought to this country, and we have not got his green card yet. he's left the country, to Egypt, the USCIS will deny him the card, and I need to un-marry him. I have no idea how to get hold of him, just that he's in cairo now, on a tourist visa. what do I do? do i need a standard divorce? how if i can't get hold of him? and he has no way to sign them?
