married in egypt divorced in egypt is this legal divorce in WA?

married in egyopt to an american woman im in egypt never went to the states. i divorced her in egypt. is this valid in WA? does the american woman have to file anything in washington for the divorce? the immigration visa application was cancelled. she is spiteful and holding me to the marriage in WA. is there papers she has to file?

The general presumption is that the marriage and dissolution are valid under the principle of comity, but the judgment has to meet certain standards of legal process and I can't speak to whether the Egyptian process met that standard, but if she is willing to accept the judgment there should be no problem. The only necessity to file the judgment in WA would be if there was an element of the judgment that was to be enforced here.
