Am I still legally responisible if my son moves out and he is only 16?

Yes, you are. You are his parent, and its your job to make sure he gets to school and has a roof over his head and food and medical care and the basic needs of life. Your responsibility to him lasts until he reaches his age of majority (18).

If he injures someone or somebody's property, you could be found liable for up to $5,000 of the damage, too. If he's driving your car, the liability just increases.

If you need help dealing with him, you could talk to your county's juvenile court facility about filing a petition to ask for services for him.
