Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

a mother's child

The court gave my single ex-husband, custody of our two boy's, the Judge said military life was unstable for the kid's. My ex hardly ever has my kid's call me back, and I just found out that my ex, wrongly accused my mom for putting a band aid to tight on my son's toe, and made it swell up. This is medically impossisable, my ex is putting the blame on someone other then him, for failing to get my son medicial treatment right away, the report said his toe was severly infected. I want to know if my mom can sue my ex for defamation of charter?

Re: a mother's child

Defamation is rarely used because it is the plaintiff's burden to prove that the statements were false and damaging. If you are unhappy with your present custody situation you could petition the court for modification for better enforcement of your visitation rights if you need help brainstorming this feel free to email me at [email protected]
