Moving out of state - do not have parenting plan

I have recently been offered a job out of state. Will I have to go through the courts to move? What kind of notification will I have to give my daughters father?

Re: Moving out of state - do not have parenting plan

Because you call your child's father that, and not your former husband, I will assume you were not married to him. This means the format that would be used for parenting in your case is called a residential schedule. You may move out of state without prior notice to him, but you are vulnerable to his filing a petition for establishing parentage or if parentage is established a petition for residential schedule in WA for 6 months after you move. If you do not inform him of your new address, if he files a petition he may be able to effect service by publication and possibly get a default judgment. You don't need to do the 60 days notice in advanced of your move, but do notify him of your new address.
