non custodial parent moved out of state do I have to let the children go across the state line or can I make him come back to the custodial state for visitation?

Re: non-custodial parent visitation
If you fail to follow your parenting plan the NCP has remedies which can and will be enforced by the Court.
It isn't about the state border. What matters is how far away he moved. If it is so far that your parenting plan is no longer practical, move for an adjustment or modification of your plan. As he moved, you are not responsible for transporting the children to his new place if that is now a huge burden on you.
But you need to reach agreements with the NCP regarding how his residential time will happen. Don't dig your heels in and refuse to budge on a losing argument. The "state line" argument is simply not the point. The non-viability of your previous plan because of his move is a winning argument. Of course it depends on the specific circumstances at issue.
Hope this helps. Elizabeth Powell
