Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
parental rights
i have been in and out of court for the last 2 years, cps took my husband and I's 3 children. it came to the point that he was found to be very abuse to me and our children and the took his parental rights away but i did mine voulantarily with the statement saying i will not sing off my rights unless his are taken and his were. well he got and appeal and i wanted to know if that means both our rights are reinstated or not or if our rights are still terminated. we are divorced now. Thank you

Re: parental rights
Please take a moment and go to wsba dot org and look for Gary Preble in Olympia and call him - with any luck he will be able to answer your question right then.
He's really skilled with dependency questions. I don't think your parental rights can be terminated without notice and an opportunity to object (unless you did something voluntarily) so PLEASE don't delay.
Hope this helps. Elizabeth Powell
