Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
Parenting plan
hello,
my name is--name removed--and im engaged to my nicole.she has two great boys that i love deeply. every july there ''father'' get them for his guideline visitation. he gets them for 4 consecutive weeks in a row with a two day weekend for nicole to see them. every year they come back incrediblely unruly(that's me just being nice), overweight and the emotional strain on my wife is horrific. what i would like to know is, is there anything we can do to have the court revise the parenting plan so, at least, the 4 weeks could at least be broken up or hell even taken away from him? sorry for being so long winded and thank you very much.

Re: Parenting plan
If you have a wife, how are you engaged to Nicole? I can imagine that the emotional strain on your wife is not just over Nicole's children. The next question I have is who is "we" in this statement? Whoever is a parent recognized under the law can petition to modify a parenting plan, that person should have evidence to support their proposed modification, unless it is an agreed modification. If the parties can't work it out by agreement, the matter could go to trial.
