Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Parenting plan question

I am divorced, my ex and I have JOINT custody of our 3 children. I have to go out of town to work for a month. Ex is refusing to allow my fiancee to have the children on my scheduled week in our home (fancee and I live together). This is not a new arrangement. Girls have been in this same routine for over a year. Can the ex spouse enforce not allowing girls to follow same routine?

Re: Parenting plan question

Without looking at your parenting plan I would not want to make a prediction of outcome, but a major consideration would be that it is the parents that have the relationship claim. Your fiance does not. You would have difficulty claiming that your former spouse deprived you of contact with the children or that the children were deprived of contact with you.
