Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Parenting Plans and Perjury

My soon to be ex submitted his parenting plan to the courts. He signed under oath that there are no limiting factors such as domestic violence. However, I have a Protective Order. Isn't this perjury? My proposed parenting plan, of course, lists the PO's case number. His lawyer must surely be aware of the PO. Isn't she also aiding his perjury? Will the DA prosecute or is lying acceptable in family law?

Re: Parenting Plans and Perjury

I have long believed that the questions people ask say more about them, than the statements they make. Your last question should not be an either or question, although you would attempt to force it to be one; it should probably be sequential questions. In any event the likelihoood of a prosecution is low, but there are other remedies available to the court.
