Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Parents living in 2 different state

I pay child support to my ex in California. He has full custody and will be moving to the state of Washington. How can this affect my court order to pay him child support?

Instantly it will not have any effect, except that he can register the decree in Washington Court. It can only be enforced in Washington, not modified in Washington (unless you become a Washington resident or consent to jurisdiction also). You may want to run the figures for Washington and California support calculations (I could do them for you in Washington, but not California) and see which is the better deal for you (you may want to register the decree in Washington and submit to jurisdiction here).
