Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
My ex partner and I had a child ( here in Spokane, WA. ) who is now starting kindergarten. We were never married, and never made a parenting plan. We have successfully shared time and responsibilities with our daughter as close to 50/50 as possible since we separated 4 years ago. 1 year ago my ex moved to Coeur d'Alene, ID. Now we are unable to agree on which school is best for our daughter, the one in here with me in Washington or with her mother in Idaho. My question is, is there any Washington state law that disallows her to put our daughter in an Idaho school without my permission? or do we now have legally equal power to decide?

There is no Washington law that says that a person can not put their child in an Idaho school. This is precisely the reason that you need a parenting plan, you have no enforceable established guidelines for how you make decisions and who is responsible for what decisions. The easy time to do a parenting plan was when you did not need it.
