Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Paternity

I am the grandmother, my son is the father. I, my grandson and his mother live in WA. state. my son is in jail in Oklahoma. The mother is not really fit, but before I can do anything paternity must be proven. Can I bring a paternity case to the court with my son signing a joinder and declaration of the father.

Re: Paternity

If you are a licensed attorney, sure. Otherwise, you can't do his case for him. Your son can file (even from another state and in custody) the action.
