Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

What does a person do if they have been going through a divorce for almost 3 years and the woman wont sign the papers. She has postponed the divorce trial date once already due to a "medical" appointment. There are 3 children between the two of them, the parenting plan and child support are already taken care of. There is no property, vehicle, or anything to divide. The only thing that needs to be done is the papers to be signed. It is like she is dragging it on just to be controlling. Is there a way to get this divorce over with? I am afraid that she will keep having these "medical" appointments on the court dates and this marraige will never be over with. . .Both parties have lawyers, but it is very expensive to keep this up, especially in this economy... There is a lot more that I could write that is disfunctionaly (and also documented) on her part, but as said before, am unable to do much about due to lack of money going to the lawyer. Please help...

If there hasn't been a trial why would you think she has to sign anything? That's the point of a trial. Trials get continued all the time for medical or other reasons. The PP and the CS are apparently not taken care of if there is a trial scheduled.

Debts also must be divided.

Justice denied is justice delayed. If you want quicker trial dates and more court time, then don't complain about paying taxes. Sorry to be so blunt, but the state keeps sending down tax cuts and that directly makes trials take longer as judges and commissioners can only hear so many cases per day.
