Post secondary education

The child support for my son ended when he graduated from high school this last June. There was no provision in the support order for post secondary education but he is now wanting to go to trade school. Can I still file for post secondary education even though the support ended 4 months ago?

The general rule is, and generally the language in a order of support provides that if post secondary education is being petitioned for that the petition has to be filed before the support requirement in the order ends.
