Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Right to property

I live with my domestic partner in Washington State. She is still legally married. If she were to die, would her husband and children have the right to her all her property? Would he have the right to freeze any of our joint assests?

I don't know that you can legally register as domestic partners if one of the "partners" is married. The spouse may well be able to make a claim for portions of the estate as the marital partner. Your "partner" should clean up her situation, getting the property issues with her spouse resolved (through a dissolution of marriage).
