Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Question about how to get my money from a case I won.

I won a case in June of 2004, for $4,010 plus 12% interest until paid in full. At the time, the person I was suing had no income or anything like that, so I couldn't get my money. But now he has a job, so he has money. I am wondering how I should go about getting my money? I have a Transcript of Judgement, but don't know what I need to do with it. What would you recommend to be the best and fastes way to get my money? File a lien, get wages garnishes, etc....?? Thank you.

Probably should not be under family law, but civil procedure, but that said, you need to do a supplemental proceeding and get an order of garnishment. Typically the fees and costs of the supplemental proceeding are added to the judgment amount to be collected.
