Real Estate Proceeds from Divorce
My Boyfriends Ex Wife whom lives in the community property with both names on title listed it with an agent without his knowledge and consent. What is the liability of the reality to check title ownership. It was court stipulated proceeds divided evenly upon selling house. Also she has been in arrears and even had a threat of forclosure. It would only take three months late for him to request selling house which he did not for childrens sake. he has been taken to court for repo of Vehicle she was awarded and also he gave her a large portion of his retirement (court stipulated and been faithful on child support. how can he protect his share also she is selling under market value to assure he receives little or nothing. He has followed all court stipulations there divorce was final in o3 she says he has not ownership as he has not made payments while she and her new husband have lived there.
