Relocation of child

I have custody of my sons....There mom has them on Wensday evening for 2 hours and every other weekend....I want to move an hour and a half away but not take anything away from the current custody rights of her.....Why am I being told I cant....IF she isnt losing anything.....why cant I move???? I still plan on her getting the boys on wensday evening and everyother weekend!!! Am I going to have to take her to court??? I dont get it at all?? Why does she have a say.....She isnt losing anything!!!

The general rule is that the primary residential parent must give notice if relocationg the child out of school district. She then can object or if she agree or she can do nothing. If she agrees to the move or does nothing then you can move. If she objects you will have to obtain court approval for the move.
