signed divorce papers,filed then changed mind

Hi, i cant seem to find this answer anywhere so i you can help, on self do divorce papers the other non filing person signs the paper, then during the 90 day wait period changes their mind and wants more in the settlement, can they legally do this in that waiting perion after it has been filed? Thanks, barbara

The respondent can revoke their joinder and answer the petition and ask for more or different relief, yes. Happens all the time.

Dissolutions are full of terms of art. Looks like English, but some words have very specific meanings only found in the law.

The waiting period is the minimum time the petition has to be pending; the end of a dissolution action can (and sometimes is) a trial, just like any other trial.

There are witnesses and evidence, and the judge makes the final decision. If the parties don't agree, that is where this is heading.
