I need to know if this is legal or if he is just making idal threats to make me do what he wants? I have very little funds and would like to avoid a long drawn out court fight. thank you for your time.

Re: is a signed mediation valid

The parenting plan that you have both agreed to through mediation is definitely legal, and binding. If it should go to court, it is likely that the court would follow the existing plan. If he refuses to abide by the parenting plan you could always seek to hold him in contempt.

If you need assistance with this issue please feel free to contact me, and someone in my office can definitely help.
