My son is with his mother and is to be returned for my weekend visitation this evening but she is out of state and refusing to bring him back. What do I do?

There is no doubt a lot more history with this and that history would affect what my recommendation for action would be. There are several options ranging generally from do nothing, document your objection (against a future similar violation of the parenting plan-essentially reserving and documenting contempt), suggest a practical resolution (e.g. make up time), immediately file a motion for contempt.
